Can you wear skirts in winter? To answer this question I will try to answer it with two different types of answers. The first type are skirt outfit ideas that look really good and keep you warm while the second type are outfits that look amazing in winter but only for those who are not afraid of the cold. I love the idea of wearing skirts in winter versus always boring and dark dresses. Now let’s look at some of my favorite ideas.
High waist royal blue skirt and black leather jacket
Let’s start with one that uses a stunning royal blue color. Simply wear a gray top with a high waisted royal blue skirt and a black leather jacket. Pair the outfit with royal blue heels. The fact that the skirt and shoes are the exact same bright color is what makes the outfit so unique and eye-catching. Wear a white midi pencil skirt in winter
If I can think of an outfit that would go perfectly with the snow, it’s probably this outfit. You can wear a blue and white striped shirt with a black cardigan. For the bottom part, wear a white midi pencil skirt, black leggings and leather knee high boots. Complement this dreamy outfit with a white fur hat.
Wear a black mini skirt with a long trench coat in winter
When it comes to wearing a skirt in winter, this outfit is probably one of the most classic. The outfit consists of a white sweater, a long gray trench coat, a black mini skirt and knee-high leather boots. Wear the black stockings to keep you warmer.
Black knit sweater and mini skirt
This is one of those outfit ideas I mentioned earlier that looks gorgeous in winter but doesn’t really keep you warm. Still, you can always wear a long trench coat with it, but that would become a different outfit idea. Return to this outfit by simply wearing a slim fit black knitted sweater and black mini skirt. Complete the look with stockings and black ankle boots. If you are not afraid of the cold, you will definitely look attractive in winter.
High waisted mini flock skirt and knee high boots
As another wonderful winter outfit, you can wear a black and white top with a black high waisted frilled mini skirt. Pair them with a beige leather jacket and black knee high boots. You can really stand out while other people wear chunky in the winter.
White flared skirt with black leather jacket and leggings
This outfit consists of the dark in the leather jacket and the cuteness in the floral top. Add some layers by wearing a white full skirt, leggings and black leather ankle boots. This is a less common way of wearing the black leather jacket. Try this and don’t always look so dark in winter.
Black leather mini skirt, leggings & blazer in winter
As a beautiful and functional winter outfit, you can wear a slim fit cream knit sweater, black blazer, black leather mini skirt, leggings and ankle boots. Add a little cute element by wearing a polka dot scarf.
Gray mini skirt and long dark blue cardigan
This outfit idea is a good demonstration of using the black, gray and navy color combination. The colors simply express a cold, snowy, gray winter feel. Just wear gray slim fit sweater, gray mini skirt, leggings and black ankle boots. Combine these pieces with two dark blue items in the long cardigan and the knitted hat.
Knee-length fleece skirt and wool trench coat
For a unique and creative outfit, simply wear a knee length fleece skirt with an oversized gray wool trench coat. Again, you can complete the outfit neatly with black leggings and ankle boots.
Oversized knit sweater with black pencil skirt
For a minimal winter outfit, you can wear a gray high neck knitted oversized comfortable sweater and a black pencil skirt. Pair it with black leather boots to complete this clean and chic look.
Twirly ruffle skirt with blazer
Occasionally you might want to dress up girly and have fun balancing out those gray winter days. You can wear all white with the white top, blazer and twirly ruffle skirt. Interestingly, you make everything black below by wearing black leggings and leather boots.
White knit sweater & black leather mini skirt
This is another outfit that keeps things simple and looks incredibly refreshing in winter. Wear a white cable sweater with a black leather mini skirt and black ankle boots. That’s it. Simple but good.
Blue Polka Dot Maxi Skirt & Ankle Boots
Of course, if you want to wear a skirt in winter, a maxi skirt is a logical choice. Wear a white blouse with a gray cardigan for the top. Pair them with a polka maxi skirt and brown ankle boots. This is such a nice winter outfit that can actually keep you warm.
Oversized wool coat with mini skirt
For a stylish look, simply wear a white t-shirt and denim mini skirt with an oversized wool coat. Ankle boots are perfect for shoes.
Chiffon Pleated Skirt & Knee High Leather Boots
For a refreshing and unique winter look, you can wear a chiffon skirt with the gray high neck sweater. Pair them with knee high black leather boots.
