That is why I offer you to make this decision (what type of coat to buy) keeping in mind all the coat ideas. Today I want to share some outfits with classic color coats – dark blue ones. Undoubtedly, this shade is very popular for autumn and winter, as it goes with almost all colors, and regardless of what style you prefer, navy blue clothes are always relevant. First of all, you can choose a length of your coat: mini, knee length, midi or maxi. Then take a coat type based on your body shape: for a straight figure, you can go for an A-line or knee length coat with a belt to create an illusion of an hourglass figure. If you are tall, choose a wide and short trench coat. If you are a petite woman, avoid long and wide coats that look oversized.
After choosing a length and type, start combining them with other clothing items. The color navy blue initially goes well with neutral colors such as white, black, gray, brown. That’s why you can achieve a casual look with black skinny pants, gray turtleneck, brown or black flat lace-up boots and of course a dark blue coat. If you like bold combinations, choose contrasting colors for blue – orange, red and yellow. For example, you can add a red bag or yellow slip on sneakers to your look. And of course, watch out for printed dresses, shirts, and skirts like black and white striped and dotted ones.
