If you look closely while walking the streets, you’ll occasionally see someone wearing an oversized t-shirt and looking good for some reason. Uncovering the mysteries is the main purpose of this blog post. I’ve rounded up some of my favorite ways to style an oversized t-shirt and I think you’ll find these tricks useful.

A classic but counterintuitive way to wear a shirt is to make it smaller? You can do this by doing two things, roll up your sleeves and tuck your t-shirt in. By your t-shirt, I mean it only partially with a hint of randomness. This outfit is the perfect example of this trick. Just wear an oversized gray print t-shirt as described for cuffed boyfriend jeans. Complete the outfit with elegant strappy sandals.

I mentioned that one way to look great with an oversized t-shirt is to make it smaller, and knotting the t-shirt can do just that. This outfit stands out not only because it uses the knot tee trick, but also because of the creative use of strong color contrast. For the top, simply wear an oversized knotted gray t-shirt. Team it with contrasting light yellow jeans. Trust me, the two colors actually go well together. It is trust that you must achieve this.
