A belt has already evolved from a useful to a decorative accessory. With it you can change your entire outfit and give your style elegant and feminine accents. It helps you look more graceful and makes all body shapes more balanced. For the fall outfits that I offer you to wear belted jackets, they are easy to combine and look amazing if you like layering outfits. And there are so many different ways to wear these types of jackets that it is time to consider them all.
First and foremost, find a classic jacket or blazer with a belt made of the same fabric that is simply tied around your waist for office-style outfits. When choosing a printed jacket, know that it goes well with classic monochrome pants or a skirt and high-heeled ankle boots or slippers.
To create a casual look, you can combine a thin leather belt with a long blazer. You can add a simple shirt, distressed jeans (skinny or boyfriend jeans), and flat boots or high heels to this outfit. Remember that with boyfriend jeans (or wide-leg pants) and a belted jacket, you should wear high heels to maintain your body proportions and make your figure look slimmer and visually elongate your legs. Add accessories such as a shoulder bag or clutch, a wide-brimmed hat and a scarf. For a more relaxed and trendy look, you can leave your jacket unbuttoned.
Of course, you can combine belt jackets made of any fabric (leather, tweed, satin, etc.) with skirts. You can choose between mini and maxi skirts and between skater and draped skirts. However, if you have a long belted blazer, give preference to a pencil skirt and add ankle boots or heeled pumps.
